One and a half years have passed since the successful joint operation by Dogami General Hospital’s Gastroenterological Surgery Department and Saito University Hospital’s Cardiovascular Surgery Department. In addition to working at Dogami General Hospital, Sagara Kosuke (Sawamura Ikki) has been invited as a lecturer by Matsuda Yoshio (Kohinata Fumiyo), the head of Saito University Hospital’s Medical Department, to groom his young doctors. Sagara and Matsuda are establishing a good relationship, but there are also doctors in Saito University Hospital who resent Sagara’s presence.
