Silver screeen adaptation of lyricist Rei Nakanishi’s award-winning novel. The story concerns the romantic involvement between a beautiful aging woman who used to be a legendary geisha (Sayuri Yoshinaga) and an equally aging historian (Tetsuya Watari) that take place in the city of Nagasaki.
