In the throes of an affair with a married man (Jesdaporn Pholdee), Joey (Shu Qi) is all too aware that her love life is going nowhere. But after a failed attempt to kill herself, she receives more bad news — she’s pregnant. Deciding to keep the baby, Joey is startled by the side effects: namely, her newfound ability to see ghosts. But when she learns that one of the spirits might want her child, morning sickness is the least of her worries.
