The Treasure Guardians (2021)

It tells the story of CCP agent Zhao Wen Zhong, code-named “Mountain Leopard”, as he fights against Japanese occupation and successfully defends the country’s territory and its treasures.

In 1941, various forces entrenched in Zhao Cheng had their sights set on China’s national treasures. Zhao Wen Zhong, a member of the Communist underground, takes on the task of protecting the treasures. As the Japanese military came to supervise the battle, Wen Zhong’s first love Li Xiao Wan also arrives causing Juan Zi who is secretly in love with Wen Zhong to be jealous. Meanwhile, bandit Yao San He attempts to win Juan Zi’s heart by joining the fight. In order to find the treasure map, the Japanese army brutally ravages the villages. Wen Zhong’s father became the key to this struggle.
